If in doubt about which settings to use, always start with the settings indicated for blue/mixed/light brown irises. Leave these default settings on the camera. Take a first picture and check on the camera screen to see if the picture is correct, too bright or too dark. This will give you clues to adjust the speed and aperture according to your needs. After a while, you will instinctively be able to adjust it.
Manual mode is the best way to take the most successful iris pictures, but it can be a little more complicated at first.

Change only the speed (1/80 for light irises to 1/40 for dark irises). This is sufficient for the majority of irises. If a speed at 1/40 remains too dark, change the aperture to f5 or f4, etc.

1. How to turn on the IrisExplorer?When both LEDs are off:
Press the blue and black buttons at the same time.

Press and hold the blue button.

Simply turn off an LED by pressing the button on the side corresponding to the one you want to turn off.
Accuracy: The LED that will remain lit will increase its brightness to compensate for the loss of light.
